Youth Members

We are operating on Monday and Wednesday evenings for the 2024 season.

If you would like to register an interest in a space for your child please contact [email protected] confirming the child is over 8 years old, a name for the child and which night you would prefer. We will be in contact when we receive your enquiry.

2024 Membership pricing

All members pay £40 then depending on your type of membership the following fees apply:

RC Boat £65
Tuition £80 first half season (due by 1st April 2024) and £80 2nd half season (due by 1st July 2024)

Calling all parents!

Although we call ourselves a Youth Association, please do not feel excluded – the Association is completely run by volunteers & we need support from every parent.

Please don’t just drop off and collect everytime, come in and see your child’s progress – watch from the excellent new clubhouse & enjoy a cuppa with other parents. Put your name down to do the refreshments one evening & meet the instructors & see your child interacting with their peers. Join work parties, they tend to be only a morning & we always have fun.

If you want to get more involved we offer an Adult Helper Membership and this enables you to participate nearer the lake, due to insurance we cannot allow any non member near the water. This type of membership is approx. £30 per year. As an Adult Helper you can be more involved in supporting the tuition of the kids. If this is of interest to you please email here.

We also offer an Adult Sailing Course in September, it runs for four Saturdays and covers the RYA Adult Course levels 1 + 2. If you would like more details please email here.
